I've said this before and I'll say it again– fall is my favorite time of the year especially when it comes to my outfit choices. From the colors to the layers, fall gives the perfect opportunity to truly show your personal style. I styled this outfit to represent some of my favorite pieces to pair with the fall season.
First of all, my plaid skirt is from Spoiled Rotten here in Knoxville. It definitely is a unique piece, but I love the colors, patchwork, and the fit-and-flare shape that all comes together! I paired it with a hunter green sweater to really make the skirt "pop" while the lace-up neckline adds just a slight extra touch of detail. The Tory Burch riding boots I am wearing in this look are a few years old, but I have linked a similar pair above! Riding boots add a sophisticated yet comfortable feel to any look, which is why I sport mine quite often during the fall and winter. I decided to add these Lisi Lerch earrings to bring out the green in the shirt and in the plaid pattern of the skirt. I have blogged about these earrings before, but I want to stress again how wonderful these earrings are. They add a statement but do not weigh down your ear! They might be a little pricey at first glance, but I wear this style of earring with almost every outfit now so they are definitely worth the money! I suggest purchasing the black pair if you're thinking about purchasing your first pair, these are the ones I wear the most!
