JORD wood watches

Keep reading for a GIVEAWAY opportunity with JORD Watches!

The weather here in Tennessee is unpredictable (as I probably have said before!) and somehow I was able to wear a skirt in January. (Regardless, a little more warmth can be added to this look, if needed, by throwing on a pair of tights and a quilted jacket.) I bought both the sweater and skirt at a local boutique here in town, but I have linked very similar items above! For me personally, I love the tall look a heeled over-the-knee boot gives; also, it covers a bit more of my leg since it is indeed January! I tied the black color of the boots together with this black floppy hat since I thought the black itself in the boots was a bit too harsh on its own.

I decided to keep my jewelry simple for the most part with my two favorite cable bracelets by David Yurman ( 1 & 2 ) since I wanted to showcase my new watch from JORD. These beautiful watches are made of wood, adding a unique yet stunningly simple feel to these timepieces. The watch I am wearing is the dark sandalwood & slate from JORD's Frankie 35 series, a more flattering option (at least in my opinion!) for those with smaller wrists as I do myself. If you like the look of a watch with a bigger face, the dark sandalwood & smoke from the Frankie series is very similar in its coloring as the one I have pictured above. I tend to think the oversized face is a bit heavy and overwhelming for my wrist size, so the Frankie 35 series is absolutely perfect for me. The dark sandalwood reminds me very much of tortoiseshell, a popular choice for me as it has hints of both black and brown. My favorite part is most definitely the rose gold detailing of the watch face. I seriously think this watch was made with me in mind! (Or I'll just keep telling myself that!!)

I could tell immediately that JORD watches are made from quality and durable materials. There are absolutely no details missing when it comes to the design, quality, and even the packaging for delivery.  My watch came beautifully and thoughtfully packaged, where a wooden box opened up to my watch wrapped around a burlap pillow. They also included a pouch to store my watch in when I'm not wearing it and also a cleaning cloth to take away bothersome smudges on the watch face.  All in all, when it comes to whether or not you need a JORD wood watch of your own, my answer is YES!

While I know money may be rather tight since it's just after Christmas but Valentine's Day will be here before we know it. No worries though– I'm here to help!
