It’s been awhile, I know, but the past couple of months have been full of adjusting and “getting it all together!” After graduating college, I moved from Knoxville, Tennessee to Roswell, Georgia (just north of Atlanta). This was quite the adjustment for me; I was born, raised, and went to school in Knoxville! While for some this wouldn’t be as big as an adjustment, it was daunting for me to leave the place where I spent the past 22 years of my life and move to a brand new city…alone.
During this time of settling into Roswell, my apartment, and my new job, I longed to continue updating Golly Miss Molly but I felt completely lost on how to do so – my mom was the one who took my photos for this blog and obviously she didn’t move here with me! I have to brag on my mom for a second. Since the beginning of this year, she has had both knees replaced and a plate put into her wrist after breaking it in three places. Even through all of this, she has been a constant source of support during my time adjusting. Whether it’s a phone call or a card in the mail, she has made home feel not so far away.
I am so ecstatic to finally get Golly Miss Molly going again, and I am so thankful to have found a photographer in the area – Katie Cathell of KVC Photography! I hope you love her photography as much as I do, and I can’t wait to continue working with her to create more content for you all!
With that being said, here’s to continuing my journey at my new home and the end of my little blog hiatus!
P.S. – you need these shoes! I got my usual size.
